I grew up in Mount Vernon, WA, and took interest in bodywork right away because my uncle and grandfather were both chiropractors. I fractured a part of my lumbar when I was 14, so I sought out alternative types of healing. I found that chiropractic care paired with massage worked best for me. That started my journey into massage.
I moved to Kula, Maui and began my massage education at the Aloha School of Massage Therapy. They taught me many modalities including Lomi Lomi, the hawaiian massage, swedish, orthopedic, myofascial, cranial sacral, reiki and energy studies, jorei, thai, stretching, reflexology, and shiatsu. It was a small group of us, so the teaching was very personally tailored and hands on.
I continued my education by studying personally with one of the best myofascial therapists in the country and soaked up all the knowledge I could before I moved back to Washington and began my own practice. I continued that practice in Las Vegas, then finally made it to San Diego! I work very closely with multiple chiropractors and physical therapists who are always expanding my knowledge.
I have been a victim of pain and believe no one should have to live like that. My passion is learning about the human body. I will never stop expanding on that. I have worked with many many different conditions, including sciatica, carpal tunnel, scoliosis, joint dysfunction, frozen shoulder, migraines, general neck and back pain, plantar fasciitis, and more.
